Oyler Idol:

Woods is a classically trained vocalist, and acted in musicals while in school. "I'm just a 33-year-old girl who loves jazz." Often sings the National Anthem at Oyler events.
Her big break?:

Wants to one day sing as part of the May Festival Chorus, a prestigious musical group that performs every summer in Cincinnati, in tribute to her music-loving father.
"Mitts":

Nickname from her father because she was the goalie on her soccer team.
Science scholar
Studied pre-med biology at Ohio University, but eventually got two Master's degrees in education from Xavier University so that she could spend time with her family.

Buttoned up. "I'm still a shirt tucked-in man. When I was younger…I always had my top button tight, which meant it looked like I was going to business -- even when I worked at Burger King."

The first in his family to go to college.

Favorite memory:
Seeing the school evolve, from having no air conditioning -- "like working in a sweatshop!" -- to being entirely renovated.
Dream job:
Teacher. "My brother's a police officer, my sister's a nurse, and I'm a teacher -- the three things that every little kid wants to be. Just working with people was something that was in us from day one."
MVP:
"I'm like a fixture in the building." Wyenandt will retire this year after 28 years at Oyler, and 32 years as a teacher.

Police officer. Glatt got her associate's degree in law enforcement, but "went on to get my bachelor's in social sciences because someone told me I was too small to be a police officer."
Good cop/bad cop:
Began at Oyler as a truant officer, which made her pretty unpopular with parents. "I was glad to get out of that role."

Hometown:
In Bangladesh. Rahman immigrated to the U.S. in 2000.
Extracurricular activities:
Played volleyball and was on the national debate team.
Worst enemy:
Cavities. "When I first started coming here, pretty much every single kid had cavities. Oh my gosh, they opened their mouths and it's full of cavities. But now, big changes."

Point guard on the Oyler basketball team. Also played volleyball and ran track. Named 2012 Youth of the Year by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati.

Headed to Northern Kentucky University.

Man about town:
Grew up within a block of Oyler. "While I did move away, I've never left this neighborhood."
First impressions:
Skipped his first day of school ever, in kindergarten at Oyler. But he came back the next day, helped the principal for the day, and "didn't miss a day of school after that until fifth grade."
Never too late:
Flunked out of college right after his first year, but went back part-time at age 32 and got his degree in six years.
Secret talent:
Has a certificate from culinary school, and worked briefly in the food industry.

The first of four boys in his family to finish high school.

Writing. "The most that I ever wrote was 67 pages…. It's a very gruesome story, but it's pretty good." The story features a high school reunion and cannibals.

Plans to do an apprenticeship in construction.

Motivation:
"Everybody used to tell me all the time like you're not going to make it through high school. You're not going to make it nowhere because you grew up on State. And you're going to have a baby by 16 and everything else like that. So I'm glad to prove all them wrong."
Fact:
Fractured her pelvis bone after being hit by a car at age 9.

Headed to Penn State Greater Allegheny.

Call me doctor:
Received an honorary doctorate from College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, his alma mater.
Started from the bottom:

"I was 46th out of 52 in my class ranking. I finished with a 1.9 GPA. I scored a 9 on my ACT and I didn't even show up for my scheduled SAT. I applied to six colleges in Ohio. I was rejected by all of them." He got into college on football.
College pride:

Has a tattoo of Mount St. Joseph's mascot, a lion.
Not-so-secret passion:
Travel. He and his wife Erin have criss-crossed the globe together. “That’s how we built our marriage.”
